Don’t wait to shape new all-ages activity centre for Rutland

The clock is ticking, Rutland... There are five days left to provide input on a new all-ages activity centre coming to the area. Visit getinvolved.kelowna.ca/activerutland to complete a survey and share your vision for the space by Sunday, Sept. 29.

With Council’s approval of the 10-year capital plan, the centre will be situated adjacent to Lions Park and is one of several major investments aimed at building a stronger Kelowna. 

The new activity centre will complement existing amenities in Rutland, such as the Rutland Activity Centre and the Kelowna Family Y. Situated in Rutland’s Urban Centre, the facility will serve the growing community with spaces for social gatherings, events, celebrations, potential childcare services, sports, leisure, and fitness programs and potential childcare spaces. 

Public feedback is among several considerations that will influence final plans for the facility.
