Call for Artists: Create an iconic country music week installation
We're bringing the 2025 CCMA Awards & Country Music Week to Kelowna, September 10-13!
The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) is excited to bring Canada’s biggest week in country music to Kelowna, BC this September! As part of the celebration, the CCMA’s along with the City of Kelowna are inviting local artists to pitch immersive art installations during Country Music Week.
Let’s celebrate the spirit of country music and showcase Kelowna’s vibrant artistic talent!
What we're looking for:
- Country-themed installations that are eye-catching and interactive
- Designs that encourage photo opportunities and engagement
- Innovative concepts that celebrate Kelowna and country music
- Pieces suitable for outdoor public spaces or event venues

Artist support and funding
Selected artists may receive up to $2,000 each, with the final number of artists chosen being flexible and subject to change. Support also includes:
- Professional photography – High-quality images of completed installations for artists to use in their portfolios and promotional materials.
- Exposure across CCMA platforms – Featured promotion on CCMA-owned channels, including:
- Social media posts and stories
- Inclusion in email newsletters
- Dedicated presence on the CCMA website
- On-site recognition – Acknowledgment as a featured artist, with opportunities for signage or QR codes linking to artist profiles.
- Industry visibility – Potential exposure to key industry professionals, media, and fans attending Country Music Week.
- Community engagement – A chance to showcase work in a high-traffic environment, engaging directly with the public and fellow creatives.
