Pesticide Notification Registry
If you would like to be notified prior to commercial pesticides being applied to bordering residential properties, you can register with the Pesticide Notification Registry during the registration period each year. The registry is for Kelowna residents and is open annually in February and March.
The Commercial Pesticide Notification Registry was established for residential property owners who wish to be informed when commercial spray operations (using pesticides including herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and rodenticides) are occurring on bordering residential properties. Notification only applies when commercial spray operators are applying pesticides to residential properties, and isn’t applicable if a resident or neighbouring agricultural property (e.g., an orchard) is applying the pesticides.
The registry is now closed for 2024. It will reopen in February 2025.
