The concrete reservoir next to Summit Park requires expansion to provide more storage of potable water for fire fighting and additional housing units that have been planned for areas around Dilworth Mountain.  The new concrete enclosed reservoir will be built next to the existing one, along with minor upgrades to the existing reservoir built in 1980. Summit Park will be closed during construction in 2024 and part of 2025. The Park will go through a re-design process and be restored in 2025.
