Raymer Avenue Watermain Renewal - Phase 1

Home > Our community > Planning & projects > Current capital projects > Raymer Avenue Watermain Renewal - Phase 1

The objective of this project is to upgrade the existing water infrastructure along Raymer Avenue between Mappin Court and Gordon Drive. The existing cast iron watermain, susceptible to costly breaks, will be abandoned in favour of a new PVC main and will eventually tie-in with the utility upgrades that were constructed in conjunction with the Ethel Street ATC project. Residents along Raymer Avenue will also receive a new water service as part of the upgrades.

The installation contractor for this work was the City of Kelowna's construction team.

Phase 2 of the project (Summer 2025) will include replacement of watermain between Mappin Court and Ethel Street.
