Family Day free activities and hours of operation at civic facilities
With the Family Day long weekend fast approaching, City of Kelowna reminds residents and businesses that City Hall will be closed for the statutory holiday on Monday, Feb. 19 but access to more than 100 on-demand services is available online 24/7 at kelowna.ca/onlineservices.
Families can visit the MNP Place on Family Day from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for all-ages drop-in activities, including a Park & Play bouncy castle, active games, try-it sports scavenger hunt, and free ice skating. Parkinson Recreation Centre will be open holiday hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Glenmore Landfill will be open regular hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. The Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery administration office will be closed Monday. Cemetery gates are open throughout the long weekend from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
