This project will complete the missing rail-trail connection from Old Vernon Road at the north end of the Kelowna Airport to the boundary of Lake Country near Beaver Lake Road. Completion of this project has been delayed due to ongoing negotiations with the Federal Government and the Okanagan Indian Band (OKIB) settling ownership of the rail lands. Construction will begin shortly after the land transfer and approvals have been completed, the timeline of which is still to be confirmed.
