Apply for a Works Permit

Construction of Works and Services within City road right-of-way requires a Works Permit. Offsite Works and Services may be required as a condition of Subdivision Approval or Building Permit issuance to service a proposed development  to the standards outlined in Subdivision, Development and Servicing Bylaw No. 7900.

Prior to applying for a Works Permit, please review the Engineering Drawing Submissions Requirements policy for detailed application and submission requirements. Standard Forms and Templates can be found below.

Works Permits typically* require:

  1. Submission of engineering drawings for Design Authorization
  2. Execution of a Servicing Agreement, including cost estimate and performance security/bonding
  3.  Submission of construction planning documents, including a construction schedule, quality control and assurance plans, confirmation of insurance, etc.
