Description: Bird Construction Group is pleased to announce the release of Tender Package 1 (TP1) for the new
Recreational Centre project. This tender package includes Earthworks and Deep Services/Civil.
Project Overview:
The project involves the construction of a new two-story Recreational Centre with a total area of 15,169
m². This facility will replace the existing Parkinson Recreation Centre and will be located at 1800
Parkinson Way, Kelowna, BC V1Y 4P9.
Outdoor Amenities:
The 19.4-hectare site will feature:
• Sports fields
• Courts
• Plazas
• Playgrounds
• Walking and cycling paths
Additionally, a new site entrance from Burtch Road and expanded parking facilities are included in the scope of work Project closes Apr 24, 2025 2:00 PM PDT.
