Priest Creek Linear Park
Consisting of a trail and three bridges which allow for pedestrian, cyclist and equestrian access, Priest Creek Linear Park offers access into Myra Bellevue Provincial Park. This area is rich in western red cedar and cottonwood trees, alongside plants such as the devil's club, skunk cabbage and red raspberry. A unique riparian (creek-side) ecosystem is apparent when trekking through the area.
The south end of the region was burned during the 2003 Okanagan Mountain Park Fire and there is a unique beauty surrounding the regeneration of plants, trees and shrubs. The wooden bridges in the area were constructed with the help of the Friends of the South Slopes Society (FOSS).
