Wheelchair Rugby - Wednesday 4:15 PM (Apr 9 - Jun 11)

Wheelchair rugby is a sport designed for people with physical impairments in all four limbs. However, we welcome players of all abilities (age 16+). Participating in wheelchair rugby will teach you how to move a sport wheelchair, catch and throw, and how to take contact from your opponents. Weekly sessions will be in a ’training format’, where participants will engage in aerobic exercise to increase their heart rate, followed by sport-specific drills, and will end off with a scrimmage.

Kick & Run Soccer - PRC - Saturday 10:00 AM (Apr 26 - Jun 14)

An excellent introduction to the basics of soccer and the concept of team work. Children will participate in body and spatial awareness in an encouraging non-competitive atmosphere. Classes for 3-4 year olds are for children with little or no experience. Classes for 4-5 year olds are for children with some experience. Dress for varying weather. Parents are required to stay at the fields and are encouraged to participate.
