Loseth Drive Corridor North of Highway 33
The City has received feedback from Loseth Community residents about safety concerns along the Loseth Dr corridor, north of Highway 33. In response, we conducted spot reviews and made minor improvements following Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) guidelines and City bylaws. These changes include parking restrictions to improve sightlines at intersections and centerline painting to better define the roadway.
As development in the area continues, traffic conditions are evolving, leading us to undertake a more comprehensive study of Loseth Dr. This study assesses current and future conditions, identifies potential issues and constraints, and proposes appropriate mitigation measures where warranted.
The corridor study is now complete and undergoing an internal review to evaluate trade-offs, feasibility, and support for different options. Concept designs are now being refined based on initial feedback. We expect to share further information once this review is finalized, though no timeline is currently confirmed.
